FV Bank cuts the complexity of FinTech banking

FV Bank has launched Global Managed Accounts (GMA), giving fintechs and payment platforms access to regulated banking infrastructure without having to build complex banking and compliance relationships themselves.

The new offering is aimed at companies developing neobank products, cross-border payment services, remittance platforms and stablecoin-enabled financial products. These businesses have traditionally had to connect multiple banks, payment processors and compliance providers to deliver their services, creating additional layers of onboarding, monitoring and customer data management.

GMA takes a different approach by allowing eligible fintechs to provide customers with accounts held directly with FV Bank, while continuing to control the customer-facing experience. The bank manages the regulated infrastructure behind the scenes, including onboarding, KYC, KYB, transaction monitoring and ongoing account reviews.

The platform is designed to support both domestic and international activity, covering more than 180 countries and over 40 currencies. It also incorporates processes for information sharing and transaction traceability required under applicable Travel Rule regulations, giving fintech partners access to banking infrastructure alongside the compliance controls supporting it.

Payments supported through GMA include USD wire transfers, ACH payments and international transfers across more than 40 currencies. The platform also supports USDC and USDT transfers, with 24/7 settlement available through supported rails.

Fintechs can manage their programmes through a dedicated GMA partner portal, while APIs allow them to integrate account opening, account management and payment functionality directly into their own platforms. FV Bank has also made developer documentation available to support integration.

The launch comes as fintech companies increasingly look for ways to expand internationally without taking on the operational complexity traditionally associated with establishing multiple banking relationships. For providers operating across fiat and digital assets, access to both types of infrastructure through a single regulated institution could also reduce the number of providers involved in delivering financial services.
