Togo and Mozambique Forge Landmark Cybersecurity Partnership to Boost African Digital Resilience

Togo and Mozambique have signed a comprehensive cybersecurity cooperation agreement aimed at strengthening incident response capabilities and digital resilience across Africa. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was formalized during the opening of Mozambique’s inaugural International Cybersecurity Week and establishes a framework for real-time information sharing, joint capacity building, and operational coordination between the two nations’ Computer Security Incident Response Teams (CSIRTs).

The partnership prioritizes practical implementation, focusing on structured exchanges between CSIRTs, coordinated activities, and operational support. It is designed to enhance the technical and operational capacities of both countries while creating a platform for collaborative responses to regional cyber threats.
