Commit Acquires Savannah in Multi-Million Dollar Deal to Access African Tech Talent
Commit, an Israeli technology firm that delivers software solutions to high‑tech companies and enterprises, has acquired Savannah, a startup dedicated to recruiting and employing seasoned developers from across Africa. While the exact value of the all-cash deal was not officially disclosed, it is estimated to be in the millions of dollars.
Founded in 2022 by CEO Itai Azogui, Savannah has assembled a network of over 100 African developers who have been placed with prominent global tech companies such as Firefly, Aqua Security, Port and Bright Data. The bootstrapped company, which expanded without external funding, will now function under Commit’s Offshore division, led by Evgeny Golubov
