Liberia and Sierra Leone Deepen Cooperation on Digital Transformation and E-Governance
The Liberia Telecommunications Authority (LTA) is strengthening regional cooperation on digital transformation, e-governance and transparent public procurement following high-level engagements involving institutions from Liberia and Sierra Leone.
The discussions brought together the LTA, Sierra Leone’s National Public Procurement Authority (NPPA) and Liberia’s Public Procurement and Concessions Commission (PPCC), with a focus on how digital transformation can support more efficient, transparent and accountable public institutions.
LTA Board Chairman Clarence K. Massaquoi stressed the importance of embracing digital transformation to improve the efficiency and accountability of public institutions.
Sierra Leone NPPA CEO Chief Fodie J. Konneh described public procurement as a key foundation for effective e-governance and called for stronger institutional cooperation between Liberia and Sierra Leone.
