Digital payment systems were once again a key focus at the launch of the fourth edition of the State of Inclusive Instant Payment Systems in Africa (SIIPS) report in eSwatini.
The report comes as more people and businesses rely on these systems as safe and efficient ways to transfer money.
The launch, organised by the AfricaNenda Foundation in partnership with the Central Bank of eSwatini, the World Bank, and the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa , highlighted the growing role of instant digital payments in promoting financial inclusion across the continent.
